Brightstar Global, Boyd Gaming Announce Breaches

Brightstar Global Solutions
Brightstar Global Solutions Corporation, operating as Brightstar Lottery, is a global provider of lottery technology and services. The company provides lottery solutions, including gaming equipment, digital platforms and instant game creation for nearly 90 lottery operations across six continents, including the Missouri Lottery.
According to a notification filed with the Office of the Maine Attorney General, “On November 17, 2024, IGT Group and Brightstar Lottery Group discovered that an unauthorized third party gained access to certain of its internal corporate systems. An investigation was conducted and “The investigation subsequently revealed certain personal information was accessed and acquired without authorization by an unknown actor on or about November 10, 2024.”
Information such as name, contact information, date of birth, government identification documents or government identification number such as driver’s license number, Social Security number or other tax identifier, financial account information, health data have been exposed.
This breach has affected over 103,000 people and notifications are being sent.
Doctors Imaging Group, FL
Doctors Imaging Group, a healthcare provider based in Florida, has reported a data breach that exposed personal and medical information of over 171,800 individuals.
According to the company’s notice, the breach occurred over a one-week period between November 5, 2024, and November 11, 2024. During this time, unauthorized actors gained access to the provider’s computer network and copied files containing patient information.
Information accessed included name, address, date of birth, admission date, financial account number, financial account type, patient account
number, medical record number, health insurance information, medical treatment information, medical claim information and Social Security number.
Boyd Gaming
Boyd Gaming Corporation, a casino entertainment company that operates casino hotel properties and online gaming services including Ameristar Casino in Kansas City and St. Charles, notified the Office of the Maine Attorney General of a data breach.
According to the notification letter, “On September 6, 2025, Boyd became aware of a cyber incident that involved the unauthorized removal of information from a system used to store data. Boyd quickly launched an investigation with the support of external cybersecurity experts and in coordination with federal law enforcement. Through the investigation, Boyd determined that the unauthorized activity began on September 5, 2025 and the last observed unauthorized activity occurred on September 7, 2025.”
Personal information disclosed include names, addresses, dates of birth, driver’s license information, other government-issued identification information, and Social Security numbers.
