McShane & Brady Investigating Life Unlimited Data Breach

McShane & Brady, LLC is investigating a data breach from Life Unlimited, a Missouri-based organization that provides services and support to individuals with disabilities. Life Unlimited is the largest provider of disability services in Kansas City.
Life Unlimited discovered that an unauthorized actor may have gained access to its network environment. An investigation was conducted and concluded that their network was “accessed between on or about January 20, 2025 and on or about January 25, 2025.”
The personal information may have included Social Security number, date of birth, driver’s license number, financial account number without password or routing number, state identification number, financial account number with password or routing number, health insurance application or claims information, patient account number, medical history, condition, treatment, or diagnosis, patient dates of service, patient name, patient telephone numbers, patient email address.
Notification letters began being sent out on September 4th, 2026.
