McShane & Brady, LLC is investigating a possible data breach from Indiana University Health.

According to an August 7, 2026 post on the dark web reporting platform Breachsense, a hacker group referred to as Storm claimed responsibility for a cyberattack against Indiana University Health.

IU Health had not publicly confirmed the incident. Specific types of information involved in the alleged IU Health incident have not been publicly disclosed.

It is unclear how many have been affected.
