Data breach possibly exposes health info for 34K Michigan Medicine patients

According to Mlive.com, 34,000 Michigan Medicine patients have received notification that their health information was possibly exposed in a data breach.

The cyberattack occurred between August 15-23.  Employees were directed to a website designed to get them to submit Michigan Medical login information.  Email accounts were when accessed.

The content of the email accounts included patient information such as name, medical record number, address, DOB, treatment information, and health insurance info.
