SAG-AFTRA

SAG-AFTRA Health Plan, a provider of health benefits to media professionals, has discovered unauthorized access to an employee’s email account.

A review of the email account continues, but it has been confirmed that members’ names and Social Security numbers were involved, and for some of those individuals, claims information and health plan identification numbers.

It is unknown how many people are affected by this breach.

Atrium Health 

Healthcare company Atrium Health has announced that a recently discovered data breach impacts more than 585,000 individuals.

The notification is likely related to an issue involving online tracking technologies that were present on an Atrium Health patient portal between 2015 and 2019.

It is unclear want information, if any, may have been disclosed.

City of Hoboken, New Jersey

The city of Hoboken, New Jersey recently announced they were a victim of a “cyber attack”.  The social security numbers, driver’s licenses, payroll, health and other personal details of Hoboken city workers were among the data stolen in breach last month.

A Russian ransom group, known as 3AM,  has taken responsibility for the breach.

Every department in City Hall was affected by the hack.  Information that dates back to 1987 was hacked.
