Mc&B Investigating Cornwell Quality Tools Data Breach

McShane & Brady is investigating a data breach from Cornwell Quality Tools, an Ohio-based tool manufacturer, that has affected over 130.,000 people.

On December 20, 2024, the company detected unusual activity in its computer network. It was discovered that an unauthorized individual had accessed the network and had acquired certain files on or around December 12, 2024.

The breach exposed names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial details, medical and health insurance information, and dates of birth.

Beginning on September 4, 2025, notification of data breach letters have been sent to those affected by this breach.
