Data Breach lawyers

McShane & Brady, LLC is investigating a data breach from Maryland based Melwood Inc.

Melwood is an employment and support service company for people with disabilities.   According to a filing with the Office of the Vermont Attorney General, “Between August 9 and 17, 2025, an unknown cyber actor accessed a portion of our computer network and copied files without permission.”

It is unknown what information and how many people have been affect by the breach.

Notification letters are being mailed to all affected individuals.
