Western Alliance Bank
Western Alliance Bank (WAB), headquartered in Phoenix, has begun sending letters to those affected by a recent data breach.
According to the letter from WAB, in October 2024, an unauthorized party gained access to software from a third party that allowed access to a limited portion of Western Alliance’s systems and to obtain copies of files from those systems. An investigation was conducted and concluded that access was gained from October 12, 2024 to October 24, 2024.
Information that may have been disclosed include names, SSN, date of birth, financial account number, driver’s license number, tax identification number, and/or passport, if you provided it to Western Alliance.
This breach has affected approximately 22,000 people.
Building Service Employees Insurance Health and Welfare Plan
The Building Service Employees Insurance Health and Welfare Plan, located in Missouri, provides health insurance and welfare benefits to employees within the building service industry.
On January 9, 2025, the Building Service Employees Insurance Health and Welfare Plan disclosed that a theft incident occurred, compromising information stored on paper and films.
This breach has impacted approximately 980 individuals.
