Mc&B files suit against Mid America Physician Services

Mid America Physician Services LLC (MAPS) is an independent, physician-owned women’s health care provider based in the Kansas City area.

The practices include Johnson County OB/GYN, Women’s Care, Women’s Clinic of Johnson County and Women’s Health Associates.

According to a letter sent to those affected by this breach, on November 14, 2024, MAPS detected a “network security incident”.

On May 8, 2025, an investigation determined a data breach occurred that compromised patient personal, financial and protected health information. The information exposed included name, address, DOB, health insurance information, SSN, billing information, and financial payment information.
