McShane & Brady, LLC is investigating a data breach from Wilmington, NC based medical practice Atlantic Brain & Spine.

Abnormal activity was discovered within its computer network on January 26, 2026. An investigation was conducted and concluded that that certain patient data had been accessed by an unauthorized third party.

Personal information disclosed included names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, financial account information, treatment/diagnosis information, prescription/medication information, Medicare/Medicaid ID numbers, health insurance information, as well as other personal information.

It is unclear how many have been affected.
