Frontier Communications

Texas-based telecommunications company Frontier Communications reported a cyberattack on Apr. 18. The company provides internet services in more than 25 states and reported $5.75 billion revenues in 2023.

“Based on the Company’s investigation, it has determined that the third party was likely a cybercrime group, which gained access to, among other information, personally identifiable information,” the company said in the SEC filing.

Roku

McShane & Brady is investigating a data breach that Roku announced today.

Roku says that a new breach impacting 576,000 accounts.  This is in addition to a data breach last month that compromised 15,000 accounts.

The company has said that it has reset the passwords for the impacted accounts and has alerted the owners of the breach.

City of Hope

City of Hope is a cancer center providing treatment of cancer, diabetes, and other life-threatening diseases.  It is headquartered in Duarte, California and operates oncology clinics around the country.

Earlier this week, they announced a data breach that occurred between September and October last year that has impacted 820,000 patients.

Information that was exposed includes names, addresses, phone numbers, DOB, Social Security Numbers, driver’s license, bank account numbers, credit card details, health insurance information, medical records, and medical history,
