HIPAA Violation Result:

A client of McShane & Brady was seeking medical treatment at a hospital were they were currently employed.  Our client expressed concerns to the hospital that their privacy be protected.  Assurances were given by the hospital.  However, word spread throughout the hospital community of our clients’ condition, exactly what our client did not want to happen.  McShane & Brady fought for their client and were able to secure a large five figure settlement.
