Mc&B Files Class Action Lawsuit From Data Breach

McShane & Brady is representing those who received a letter in the mail around November 30th, 2021 from Psych Care Consultants & QRS Healthcare Solutions in regards to an unauthorized data breach that occurred on August 23-26, 2021.

In this letter, QRS states they host the electronic patient portal for Psych Care Consultants.  An unauthorized third party accessed a QRS server and may have acquired certain protected health information (“PHI”) stored on the server.

An investigation determined that the incident involved unauthorized access, and potentially unauthorized acquisition, of personal information, including name, date of birth, patient number, and portal username.  It was also determined that the acquired information may have also contained an address and limited medical treatment or diagnosis information.
