The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration revealed that Kansas City ranked among the top 10 cities with the highest number of fatal car accidents. Kansas City was listed as seventh on the list of cities with the highest number of traffic deaths, with a reported 18 traffic fatalities per 100,000 population.

Accident Prone Areas in Kansas City

Analyzing the data further, we can identify certain areas within Kansas City where the most accidents tend to occur. High-traffic zones such as Interstate 435, Interstate 70, and Highway 71 have consistently seen a higher frequency of accidents. Additionally, intersections such as Wornall Road and 95th Street, Blue Parkway and Swope Parkway, and Gregory Boulevard and Troost Avenue are notorious for their accident-prone nature.
