H&R Block Data Breach Notifications Sent

On August 9, 2024, H&R Block discovered that an unauthorized third party was able to gain access to information associated with certain clients accounts between the dates of May 13, 2024 and August 7, 2024.

H&R Block has been sending out letters notifying those who have been affected by this data breach.

Information that may have been disclosed include names, Social Security numbers, government-issued identification numbers, financial account information, and date of birth.
