Mc&B Investigating Healthcare Services Data Breach

McShane & Brady is investigating a data breach from Healthcare Services Group that has affected over 624,000 people.  Healthcare Services Group is a Bensalem, PA-based provider of environmental, dining, and nutritional support services to healthcare facilities. They provide  services to more than 3,000 healthcare facilities in 48 U.S. states.

A breach report indicates initial access to its network occurred on September 27, 2024.  It was determined that personal and protected health information was potentially stolen.

Breach notification letters started being sent out on August 25 to those who have been affected.
