McShane & Brady Investigating Laurel Eye Care Data Breach

McShane & Brady, LLC is investigating a data breach Laurel Eye Care, a Brookville, PA, medical practice that has affect over 42,000 individuals.

According to a filing with the Office of the Maine Attorney General, “On January 26, 2025, we became aware of suspicious activity within our computer systems.”

An investigation was conducted and “found evidence indicating that certain LEC files were obtained by an unauthorized user.”

Personal information disclosed may include: name, date of birth, driver’s license, username and passwords, medical information, and health insurance information.

Letters of notification are being sent to those affected.
