Ahold Delhaize USA said a cybersecurity incident took place on November 5th 2024 that exposed the data of 2.24 million people.
Ahold Delhaize USA operates supermarkets under its Hannaford banner.
These supermarkets include Food Lion, Giant Food, Hannaford and Stop & Shop. It operates more than 2,000 stores in 23 US states.
Ahold Delhaize USA released a notice to affected customers and employees on Thursday detailing the impacts of the breach.
The breach compromised sensitive customer information including names, Social Security numbers, health info and financial account details such as bank account numbers.
Dairy Farmers of America
Dairy Farmers of America recently revealed that many of its 84 nationwide manufacturing plants experienced ransomware attacks.
Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) is a milk marketing cooperative and dairy processor owned by 9,500 U.S. dairy farmers.
The attack caused operational disruptions, affecting the processing and receiving of milk.
Iron County Medical Center
Iron County Medical Center in Missouri experienced a data security incident impacting approximately 10,239 individuals. Both personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI) were exposed.
Iron County Medical Center is an independent, not-for-profit healthcare facility located in Pilot Knob, Missouri.
Iron County, located in south central Missouri, is approximately 100 miles southwest of St. Louis.
The breach was reported on June 18, 2025, and involved unauthorized access to sensitive information through email systems.
